gave me red rings horrible other than that it was alright not worth the money got my cash back though and got a new one but that doesnt solve red rings and i have the new 250gb xbox with kinect

RRoD is not caused by controllers, in fact, there is no correlation between the two at all. RRoD is basically defective CPU's that become unsoldered from the motherboard and short from overheating.

No way could a controller "cause" the red rings. Not a chance.

Controller works great, just don't think your going to buy it and use it with your turtle beaches. Because you will be disappointed. Because of the feed back you get from the controller. So you can't chat if you use them together.

I use TB X41s with no problem chatting. Are you using the stock chat cable, or their "puck" style? I had crackling with the stocker, but the puck cured it. Mostly.

This controller is great. I will admit it took me a few days to get used to it's feel but now I'll never go back to using a regular controller. The extra springy triggers allow for faster Semi-automatic shooting. Anyone who says this controller is "Cheap" or "Poorly made" is sadly mistaken, it's a great, solid controller and I look forward to using it for a very long time. The ONE and ONLY downside to this controller is the D-pad. Sometimes it will press Up, or down when you meant to press Left or right. I would recommend this to any xbox player, It's great for all games, not just black ops.
i have turtle beaches x31"s i think the ones that cost 30 anyway i hve the precision aim controler for the 360 and it works buttons and everything but when i plug the headset in i hear but cant talk please help

That same thing happened to me. I just returned this controller and got the Xbox Controller with the Play and Charge Kit. It is made by Microsoft, it doesn't require batteries because it has Play and Charge, and IT WORKS WITH TURTLE BEACHES. Also, it looks just as nice as this controller. It's a nice silver. Also, one more thing: you have the XLC Ear Force, and so do I.

i had the same problem. it seems that turtle beach headsets only work with controllers made by microsoft. another thing if you have the $30 turtle beaches you have the xlc the x31's are $80 i think.
