I don't think the game is as is good as last year. I like the Gameflow, but overall the game really really sucks. Stick to last years and probally next years.

This is a great game for football fans. But the gameplay is the the same. The announcers are the same: horrible. The franchise menu is guess what: the same! The only thing differnt with franchise mode is a differnt font style (how the letters look) and updated rosters. But for me, without Xbox Live, the roster update makes it worth it. Anyways if you like football buy this game.
this game is okay. one thing that i didnt like is when they didnt fully tackle u u could hit the juke button and you would be able to get extra yards, or if ur right on the goal line then u hit the juke button and you can get a touchdown. another thing they need to do is make the commentary way better. after u play it for a week or so like i did then i would know in my mind what they were going to say. they also need to make it so u can PICK WHAT U WANT TO CHANLLENG because i would want to challeng a fumble and it would challeng the spot of the ball it would cost me a time out. another thing is i have the skill level on 13 and 14 and is still end up blowing the team out. my advice just rent it.

Yes, the online is pretty legit, but the offline is a little bad, to say the least. The superstar mode has horrible depth, and it's more like a franchise mode without the whole team being important. This is a problem that has plagued madden in recent years (08-present) the superstar mode is just so dull. In the older maddens you had interviews, sponsors, mid-season interviews, hair cut shop, tatto parlor, EVEN your own house. I know these things might seem subtle, but if your going to give us cool stuff in the beginning, don't take it away. ALSO you had to work to get a better agent as opposed to now where you don't even know who he is and he doesn't do squat. As for the franchise mode, it's pretty pedestrian. By the way, i forget to add that you had your own email, the more polished your player was you would move into a mansion instead of a boring apartment, and you had influence over your teammates( which would affect their performance like in real life). MADDEN, please stop sucking offline.
