It's up to you to stop those insufferable good guys from saving the day! You're not going to let those heroes come and save the world, are you? What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2 retains allthe quirky, offthewall humor, gorgeous retro art, and deepaction puzzle mechanics of its predecessor, while introducingmore content, more types of good guys to thwart, and manyadditional ways to craft the dungeon of your dreams (and theheroes' nightmares).

This is truly a gem of a game waiting to be discovered. I'm amazed no one has stepped up to the plate yet to review it. The graphics which are often the driving force to sell a game are 16bit at best and may be causing this title some slower sales, however; this is easily one of the best games i've played in a long time. I hope to be able to play the 1st game in the series after finding this one. The game starts as a simple dungeon digging game but quickly evolves into an extremely deep and complex puzzler / ecosystem simulation game with some fantastic concepts to keep you thinking how to better place things and grow your minion army to defeat the good guys, yes that right, you actually play the bad guys in the game and it's a fun and unique approach to story telling in a game. The story is silly but witty, while never approaching the cheesy side that some RPG's do. I really enjoy the art style of this game and the pixel animations are very good, so again, dont be fooled by the single screen shots. I hope NIS continues to take chances like they did with bringing this to the US with some of their other titles!

Alright, let me just clairify a few things. First, yes the game has 16-bit looking graphics. Second, there is only around 8 levels (without dlc, im pretty sure it adds a bunch more.) With that out of the way, THIS GAME IS AMAZING. it has a very unique concept, be on the side of evil in that you help your accomplice, named Bad Man, take over the world. You do this by helping him construct dungeons, basically build a maze, and stop the heros that invade your dungeon from finding, and capturing Bad Man. it is really insane how much is put into this game. Not only is your goal to foil the heros plan in stopping you, but it is also to have a thriving envirment inside your dungeon, that is with monsters. there is a food cahin, which by the way is pretty amazing to see in a game, let alone a game with 16 bit graphics, in that these monsters take in nutrients from the soil, these monsters eat those ones, these eat that, and so on. Now as i mentioned earlier, there are only 8 levels, but let me tell you, the difficullty in the game will have them make sure you get those hours of game time you would want from a long game. also you can replay every level, and there is a skirmish mode. I love this game, but in case you have a hard time finding it, just download it from PSN!!! i'm pretty sure it was about 8 dollars, so all around the same price. :D
