This is like the best thing you could ever buy. alot of space for my downloads and installs and plus its alot faster to save your games.

I bought this used because I usually install all of my games to my hard drive. It's well worth it if you have the old systems.

if you have xbox live you may think this is somthing you may think would be handy well NO!!! you will still need your disk's to play those games you installed to your xbox so no need there and now that zune is now on xbox live you will more than likely to streem (do you really want to wait for a download) the only way i see buying this at all is if you plan on downloading games from the marketplace but you will find that you cant take your game to a friends house w/out your HD+internet (internet needed for a varifiction codes) its to to much work i had a 120HD when i frist got my xbox but this was before updates for zune and installs

installing the game on your hard drive helps keep the xbox cooler by not having to read the cd the whole time your playing the game. makes the xbox quieter so its not annoying. it wasn't suppose to be able to play w/o the cd. it is the best way to play so your xbox doesn't over heat by running all the time. it was a smart idea to buy, i had the same thought when i seen that i could install the game on it. but once i talked to a game stop employee they advised me that it wasn't to play w/o the cd but to keep your xbox from running the eye and reader to keep your xbox cool and running smooth since xbox has a problem of overheating

This is the very best hard drive ever I have tons of game add-ons and even full games on it. It has never crashed on me. One suggestion I have for gamers with this hard drive is to download your games from the disc to the hard drive, you still have to put in the disc but it is a lot faster loading and connects to Xbox Live almost twice as fast. For those of you without Xbox Live this hard drive is not for you.
