i bought it because i use my ps3 alot, because my computer is not that great. Two weeks after buying it i turn the ps3 on and it sounded like the fans were grinding. Even on high the ps3 still got hot to the touch after just two hours of play so i took it apart and put a cpu fan on it, works great now.

I have no idea why people are putting bad reviews for this product, it does what it is supposed to; keep your system cooler and of course its going to be loud but the thing is its not that loud at all. If you want your system to be cooler then buy this it does what its supposed to. Its worth buying.

I have only had the intercooler for a couple of months, but it keeps my ps3 VERY cool to the touch and I spend hours and hours at a time playing online games. It did make alot of noise one time when I turned my system on, but it did not stay that noisy. So who cares if it makes some humming noise, it keeps my system very cool and that means more live for it, so over all I am still happy with it.

i bought this product it worked fine until the fans started making a lot of noise. Then i notice only one of the fans was running out of the three, so i took it apart and it was so hot inside the inter cooler it melted the wires. i noticed that my PS3 would freeze a lot when this product was connected. i took it of had no freezes at all. if you are serious about cooling down your system go to Walmart and buy a small $20 fan and have it blow on the side of it. that's your best bet then waste your money on this

its an ok thing plus it eally does its thing pefectly and the one i bought has no problem at all, and its fans work gret and it makes no noise. I dont know about these othe people but there must be something wrong with yours.
