this game is great.i always loved nba games since the original xbox.this one is the best,especially with MICHAEL JORDAN!!!!!,who is the best basketball player of all time.i cant wait to get 2k12 or even 2k13 when the price goes down a little bit.

This game is one heck of a beast. The record in the title won't last for a year because of NBA 2K13 (2K12 was ok). Overall, I played this for a while. Got old, but I still loved it.

i love the new jordon mode!!!! career is a lot better and i love the new graphics and sprite slam cam, and the play of the game, and jordon player of the game... great replay value, great game to play with a friend... online lags a little sometimes... skip nba 2k12.... no improvements besides roster and u can do that online

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers
The game play is very good, especially the My Player. It is pretty in depth, but takes a while to level up. Warning, once you pick a position, you can't change it. I didn't think I was going to like the Team Play aspect of it, but I'm starting to like it. Alright, so the annoyances. The passing can be very difficult at times. My Player is a point guard, so passing is a big thing. I find myself thinking I'm going to pass to the wide open man five feet away from my on the perimeter, but actually pass to the guy covered by three people in the paint. One other thing is the switching of the guy you are covering. I'll be covering the wide open guy running into the paint for a layup, which I stop. Then he passes to the guy out on the perimeter which is now apparently my guy. I wouldn't care if it wasn't so heavily penalized. My other than these, great game.

This game is great for sports gamers and basketball fanatics. If you are the type of kid that is addicted to MW3, this game is probably not for you. The gameplay is excellent. My player is ok, but the graphics are awful. Association mode is my favorite thing ever! There are only a few things that really bug me..One is the players faces look so weird. I know this is kind of nit-picky but im sorry...Also, the CPU makes shots when there dobule teamed or there is a hand on their face. Other than these minor flaws, this is a great gsme!

This was a reallly good game. I liked the jordan challenges, my player is as usual fun and a big upgrade from 2k11. Gameplay can sometimes be unrealistic and slow. But overall great game.

I usually don't write reviews on games, because I think most of them are subjective, you have to actually play them for yourself to see how they good they are. I made an exception because this game was so bad. I've been playing Basketball Games since Double Dribble on the NES, and this is by far the worst EVER. I don't even know how to put words around how much this game sucks. This game failed in every aspect except for the fact that it has Jordan. And even that is a mini-fail, because this game does not portray Jordan accurately. I never saw Jordan miss layups, shoot from behind the backboard instead of turning to the inside and dunking it. I never saw Jordan being outrun by Stockton and Malone, it just goes on and on. I will be returning this game for NBA Live 10, they never disappoint. This is the first, and last, 2k basketball game I will ever buy. And what the heck is up with game informer giving this game an 8+? Horrible game

This is a great game. I am a huge basketball fan and when it is too cold to shoot hoops outsid i play this. This game is really fun the challenge to shoot acurately is great. But sometimes this game gets boring!

Sound tracks were on the ok side and so were the graphics. This game was pretty annoying. Basically the same thing over and over.....no smooth controls....Commentator saying the same thing over and over....pretty annoying.it can still be fun though if you're good at it :)
