Pros: It comes with wii sports, wii sports resort, two nun chucks, and two controllers. The console is able to have netflix on it (download). You can play game cube games. The price is reasonable. Hardly overheats. Its sturdy and free wifi.
Cons: The controls get bugged sometimes. Roughly 45% of the console's games are for children. The motion censor that comes with the wii is a big pain in the butt. First person shooters are super hard to play because the wii controller constantly has to be aimed at the screen.

The wii is a great family console that the entire family can play.it has ok graphics and good gameplay.The only con is the disc drive broke on me and it couldn't read any of my discs but i sent it in for 74.55 and they had it back to me in 3 weeks max working and with a 1 year warranty. nintendo is a really good company.

What I love about the Wii is that it has motion control. In Wii Sports Resort golf, you swing the Wii remote like a golf club. It's also the perfect system for families because there are way more E rated family games out there for Wii than the X-Box 360 or PS3. The Wii Shop channel is great too. You can download classic titles from old systems (VC) or new titles (Wii Ware). I think the best thing about the Wii is that you can make Miis. These are the characters you play as in the game. You can make Miis on the Mii channel, and you can make them look however you want them to. Overall, terrific, and very under rated system.
