Horrible Headset

Do not buy these, the normal xbox 360 headset is WAY better then these are. The game chat almost completely mutes your friends, they hurt your ears really bad because they are so freaking tight, the mic you almost have to SCREAM to get it to actually broadcast your voice, it's just horrible, not good in any way. GETTING X12's WOOOOOTTTT!!!!!

it was great at firs but the after a while the right ear piece came off and then like a month later the left on came off. i fixed it but now it only works on the left side.

So yeah, I was at Target and I saw this $30 headset next to the $70 one, and I thought "Hey, Turtle Beach for that cheap? I'm in!" I finally got it set up, with minor issues. It comes with a component cable adapter that fits between the RYW cable and your TV to cancel the sound, and you need to plug the cable into both the TV and your controller. The controller jack is somewhat of a poor design, it holds in decent, but it moves around too easily, I'm afraid I'll accidentally pull it out. It has good sound quality for the game, but you need to turn the game volume to minimum when people are talking (it just adjusts the volume during speech) and even then it can be difficult with quiet people. It has some pretty good sound blocking foam in the earpieces, but after a while it starts to make your ears sore. The performance is pretty good for the price, but save up money if you can and get the better pair. I'd rate these as a 4.25-4.5 if I could, but I just rounded up.

I bought these a little while ago and i was so excited for them to arrive in the mail. When they came i tried them out and IMMEDIATLEY they broke. PLUS the game sound drains out ur friends voices. All im sayin is if u have the money go with the X11's. I got those right the xlc's broke and they work perfectly.
