HATE PAYING FOR ONLINE FOR PSU.....FREE ONLINE WITH THIS GAME.the games amazing i love it itz the best RPG in my life.I evan stop paying for PSU. so if you love phantasy star universe......STOP PAYING for online and play phantasy star portable 2 and play online for FREE!!!!!

This game is great and is a must have for ps fans. Although im new to the series, I instantly fell in love with it. Now i played PSU online for about a month (due to the dumb fee of 10$) and it was fantastic. This is all of that but better! Online is really fun and there is TONS of weapons and loot. The story wasnt all that bad either and was pretty long and its pretty epic. But the thing i really liked is you can use your story character offline AND online! Both modes are fun and havent bored me a bit. I just love the satisfaction of getting that new weapon or costume and going online to show it off! Although there is one thing that did dissapoint me was that there is only one lobby in the game for shops and such. Again not a deal breaker. So if your new to the series or a fan and wondering if this game is worth it, IT IS! This is a great offline and online game and you should be playing it right now!!
I will admit that PSU was a fun MMO and it was unfortunate that it really didn't take off with more updates and stuff...But for all of us PSU fans, we are in luck! PSP2 is pretty much a FREE version of PSU but BETTER! Of course there are some differences...(you have to join a party before you can interact in the town, also your in a different 'town' than in PSU) But you get to visit similar (or the same) places as in PSU plus more content! And its FREE ONLINE with WiFi!! Also, don't worry about trying to level up two different characters for Story and Online modes..A huge perk is that you can use the same character for both online play and story play! If you are any kind of a Phantasy Star fan, this is what we have been waiting for since PSO!

This game is so much fun. The story is pretty good and will last you awhile but if you have online, then this game will last you forever. When playing with other people it's so much fun. It makes the time go by so fast. I highly recommend getting this game unless you don't want hundreds of hours taken away from your life.
