Worst Guitar Yet!! But Game is Great

My husband bought this for me for my birthday. I was so excited to finally get a new guitar controller. I've had the GH World Tour guitar for 2 years now, and it had started double strumming a few weeks before this came out. I was hoping they had fixed this problem in the new guitar, but it's only worse!!
I used my other controller for years, probably an average of 2 hours a day of game play on expert. It was nearly 2 years before it started double strumming. I had this one less than a week, original batteries still fully charged, and it started double strumming worse than the other one ever did. Prior to that, it did play great.
The game is great. I like the addition of challenges in quickplay. I'm hoping they will replace the guitar on warranty, but I won't expect the next one to last any longer. I am very disappointed with this, and would recommend buying the game only and finding a different controller. Hopefully they'll fix their design flaws next time around. I'm tired of wasting my money and hoping things have changed.

I LIKE THIS GAME CAUSE IT HAS SOME OF MY FAVORITE SONGS LIKE PSYCHOSOCIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT SONG ROCKS

AWESOME is best to describe this game. The gameplay is awesome with all the powers like speed freak (warrior johnny), star power generator (warrior echo), crowd hyper (warrior judy), star power amplifier (warrior austin), star power nova (warrior pandora), mutiplier extender (warrior lars), streak guardian (warrior casey), and resurrector (warrior axel) which can all be up graded.The graphics are really good but could be a little better. It has songs like the outsiders, crying, dancing through sunday, no more mr. nice guy, the feel good drag, indians, bat country as made famous by avenged sevenfold, children of the grave, machinehead, fascination street, pour some sugar on me as made famous by def leppard, bloodlines, money for nothing, fury of the storm, bodies, dance dance as made famous by fall out boy, tick tick boom, no way back as made famous by foo fighters, love gun, bleed it out as made famous by linkin park, uprising, i'm not okay(i promise), how you remind me as made famous by nickelback, bohemian rhapsody as made famous by queen, savior, stray cat blues, 2112 as made famous by rush, psychosocial, black rain, interstate love song, renegade as made famous by styx, we're not gonna take it, and sharp dressed man as made famous by ZZ Top & much more starting at 110 songs. I found it long-lasting because once you having beaten quest mode, you have to dominate it. It has reward tracker which you unlock cheats, extras, characters like eddy knox and clive winston, & much more. This game is insanely challenging and it is definately for gamers wanting a challenge.

Got this game three nights ago at the release and I definitely didn't regret buying this game. For once the majority of the songs didn't actually bore me. I play on expert and am extremely good at guitar hero, been playing since Guitar hero one came out on PS2, so obviously this was a good one. The Quest Mode was very cleverly planned. They match the songs up for each individual character based on what they seem like they would play, and the quest idea itself is really a good idea. Online mode, there aren't really very many rough songs to versus others with. There are a lot of nice customizable options in this one, including the "Frostmourne" sword from World of Warcraft being used as a guitar. Unlocking all the stars and ranking up is a difficult task, but using all the instruments gets you more stars, so it's a great band game as well as just for guitarists. Now all they need to do is create a guitar hero: burning the lands, and fill it with songs that're only impossible, by now most people who care about guitar hero are as good, if not better than I am. (:
This guy needs a more difficult guitar hero. He's not me, either.

thanks i waz surprised when ign gave it a 7.0 but the new guitar controller looks awesome i went into gamestop today to buy the guitar kit and there not getting a shipment till after store hours so ill have to go tomorrow best set list and best imports
