There is no doubt about it: this game is epic!!!! Everything from the peewee mode, to the NHL mode, to the Stanley cup finals, is so much fun to play!!!!!! EA, you gat everything right in this game!

Quite a surprise

As someone who had played NHL games on the PS3 since 2008, I wasn't quite sure of what to expect for a hockey game on the Wii. I had seen this game featured when NHL 11 was released, but I bought NHL 11 instead since I didn't use my Wii that much. Buying NHL 11 wasn't a mistake, but not buying NHL Slapshot certainly was. Not only is this game easier to play and more interactive than NHL PS3 games, it also includes 6 different leagues and the superb Peewee to Pro mode that beats Be A Pro on NHL 12 by a mile. I only have two issues with the game. One, the graphics, which are similar to the ones on PSP or PS2, and the fact that the rosters do not update beyond the start of the 2010-2011 season. There is also no online play like in NHL 12, but that is not an issue to me since that wasn't what I was looking for. Bottom line is this: If you or your family like hockey and are looking for a way to actively pass the time off of the couch, buy this game. If you are an avid sports gamer, graphics snob, or fan of online play exclusively, I would say buy the latest NHL game for Xbox or PS3. Great game!

Great interactive game

I love the bundle for this game. The stick makes you get up off the couch and be active when playing. Sure other games have better graphics, but this is a lot of fun.
