While looking for 100 Classic Books, I came across this junior version. Some of the titles are great for children, but I'm not sure I would say 8 years old. In response to the earlier post, I have previously read a good portion of the books on the game including Oliver Twist, A Christmas Carol, numerous Sherlock Holmes stories, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and sequels, and more. I'm excited to read the rest!

Once again I thought great books on the ds. After getting this and seeing the titles listed my next question was, What were they thinking? Ok I am not a hardcore reader but 90% of these titles I never heard of. They pull you in with the classic Alice and Wonderland on the cover only to be disappointed at the long list of never heard of titles. Great idea, bad choices.

I can't help but share that I'm a saddened by your review. Every single book included in this collection is a classic (as the title indicates) piece of children's literature no more or less famous than the currently popular Alice in Wonderland. Even if you aren't a hardcore reader, American education should have made sure that you at least heard of them. For those interested, here's a list of included titles: *A Christmas Carol
*A Journey to the Center of the Earth

*A Study in Scarlet
*Adventures of Pinocchio
*Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
