Homefront May Not Meet Up To Expectations...

Some people told me Homefront was a great game. So I went out and bought it, even knowing that it only got a 7 on both Game Informer and IGN. Stupid mistake. Although Homefront has potential for a sequel and has some positive traits, most of it is just a flawish experience. The Campaign is wicked short, although a great storyline, and even on the default difficulty, is a pain in the you know what. The graphics don't really look like a 2011 game, more like a 2006. The controls are exactly the same as Call of Duty, which i like honestly. Another thing that is a pain is when you get killed after 3 shots, and the KPA enemies take sometimes a whole magazine. And when you do, you have to start the whole mission over. The Multiplayer is similar to my review of the Campaign: a pain in the neck, but with some good traits and potential. First off, there is only about 15 primary weapons, and 1 secondary weapon, which is an M9 Pistol. And an RPG is a Killstreak. Lame. One cool thing is the ability to drive vehicles, and you didn't see that in Modern Warfare 2 or Black Ops. Even though there are only 3 game modes, it should keep you busy with some large maps that are based on locations in the Campaign. If you aren't lucky and your Battle Code ain't working, to get past level 5, you need to buy one. Again, lame. Homefront has a lot of potential, but I'm seriously considering trading this in for a new game.

well... this game is pretty good, the campain is kinda short but it's still fun to play... multiplayer is amazing and im pretty sure you'll enjoy it..... BUY IT!
