The DSI XL is a wonderful device because you can play a bunch of different games on it. You can play it anytime and anywhere. This DS product has a bigger screen so you can see things better on it. DSI XLs also has a bunch of apps that you can get with DS points from taking pictuers to playing mini games. You also have a large selection of games you can get but it can get boring as well. All kids would enjoy this gift because you can play with your frieds on multi player. Multiplayer is wireless so it is not as much difficult to use. The DSI XL is a great device because it is fun and easy to use.

Its ok not what i expected

I went from a Wii to a Dsi XL. I had friends who had the DS Lite and the Dsi and they always compained about the screen being small. I saw the Dsi XL and read review after review thought sounds good it just has a bigger screen ill go get that one. Well, I enjoy playing guitar hero on my Wii and knew they made a version for the Ds's well after i bought the Dsi XL for $170 then the Band Hero for $20 I thought i was going to be golden. WRONG! Maybe other people out there already know this and because im new to the handheld gaming world im just dumb - you cant play band hero or guitar hero on the Dsi XL only on regular DS and DS lite. Had i known this i never would have bought the stupid thing. That was the reson i bought it so i could have a handheld version of band hero with guitar, drums and vocals. And the graphics ont he thing really suck for being a bigger screen you would think they would have fixed the graphics a little better. Im sure ill find other games for it that i do like to play just sucks i cant play the one game i wanted it for.

i love the dsi xl i dont have it but it sounds awesome but i dont think it has picsochat
