I just want to start off by saying DO NOT buy this especially if you already have a ds lite.I sold my ds lite and got this expecting dsi to do so much more than ds lite. It really doessn't. Me and my friend both got it and we both agree it is a terrible system. The web browser is terrible. It can barely even load google. And there is not a single good game in the dsi shop. But the main reason i dont like dsi is because of the games. ALL of the games i have experianced i completed in an hour. And the graphics are barely better than gameboy advance. With this, i have pretty much come to the conclusion that ds is a system for NOOBS. None of the games have any replay value what so ever(yes, even pokemon). And the camera is SO fuzzy that youll hardly ever use it. And dsixl doesnt even fit in your pocket. Well, anyway, next month im trading it in for a psp (whats better, 3000 or go?) and my troubles will be over. Do not by this system if you are older than 10!

Thanks for the comment! so many people have disliked my review, but thats probably just cause so many nintendo fanboys visit this page. Anyway i decided to buy the iPod touch 4th gen. It is the ultimate mulitimedia portable system with a full 32gb of storage( it also can be bought with a 8gb or 64gb amounts of storage)for all of my favorite music, shows, movies, and most importantly GAMES! The multitouch screen is so much better then the horrible little pen controlled dsi screen. I absolutely loveit! One thing that some people say though is that there are no games for it. Oreally? We have super monkey ball 1 &2, sonic the hedgehog 4, nova 1 & 2, dead space, call of duty zombies, modern combat 1 & 2, ifinity blade, and of course doodle jump. All nintendo offersis their usually mix of mario and zelda garbage that went old about ten years ago. iPod touch offers something for everyone, while the dsi only offers gamesfor children about the age of 3. Thus the title of my review. And the 3ds fails to impress me. iPod touch FTW!!!!

Sorry you had such a bad experience with the DSiXL. Since you mentioned portability, I would recommend the GO for you. You can rent or buy movies, has WiFi and Bluetooth and it comes with 3 free popular game download codes. The downside being that you HAVE TO download EVERYTHING. I liked the idea of the GO and how cute and small it was... but that would mean I would need to trade in all my games and BUY them all over again via download...NOT my cup of tea. Since you have never had one, this may work for you. I also like to use my discs so I don't need to worry about download insurance (about 3.99 per game if you so choose). If you get the 3000,( and your a guy that doesn't wear skinny jeans so it will fit a pocket halfway decent), the BLUE psp 3000 coming soon WITH CAMERA is your best bet. That way you STILL get a camera (haven't had one yet so tell me how it is), you'll have the OPTION of physical discs or downloads, and you can play your music/videos/etc. BTW I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEE My PSP 3000! (As if you hadn't guessed) :-) Comment back and let me know how it goes ;-)

This system is great. You can take pictures of stuff, listen to music/record your own, browse the web, and play games (suited to your taste) on the bigger screen of the DSi XL. One of the best portable gaming devices out there.

its pretty good i got it with birthday and its ok but its games are so simple im not saying dont get it but if if you ae a serious gamer stay away from nintendo and espicaly if youre older than ten
