the kinect is really fun. For the most part it's pretty responsive with everything you do as long as you have the correct lighting. Don't play in sun lit rooms. Best works with a single light casted from a slight angle so your shadow is casted behind you. Another big downfall right now is there are no games really. The best games are dance central and kinect sports. Everything else is worthless right now. I love playing ping pong and i love watching my gf play dance central.

I was one of the ones SO excited about Kinect and its domination of playstation move and the Wii. BUT this is TOTAL GARBAGE! Game support for the next 6 months is LITTLE TO NONE, while the realization that if you do not have substantial lighting a lot of the features NEVER work properly, and as they are intended. I'll start off by saying that no matter WHAT, or HOW MANY times I did the process to add info for facial log in, it probably only logs me in 10% of the time. this is also a pain IN GAME. need a drink? go ahead, but expect to play the next round as a different avatar or character because kinect doesn't pick up quickly or accurately enough. Sure as far as body movement and responce time its VERY accurate, the games also seem like they will be pretty fun to tackle. but that doesn't make up for the fact that to use kinect you have to go through a whole process, the camera rarely ever reads you while sitting on a couch, unless you sit up and close (and for some that means its time to move the furniture. LAME.) Which I guess that is why they decided to NOT have netflix compatible with kinect? whats the point of using your hands to navigate menus if you have to get up and half way stand up every time you want to do something. its still 10 times quicker and easier to use a controller. Which, last time I checked, was supposed to be ya know, THE POINT. Don't even get me started about how stupid it was to try and use kinect for a wireless mic. Think about it, kinect uses your voice to chat, but it uses the SPEAKERS to play other peoples voices on xbox live. so NO MATTER WHAT you have to have your speakers at a high volume so you can clearly hear what people say over the game music. but uh, doesn't that mean that kinect will not only pick up your voice but others voices and game sounds as well??? WHY YES THAT IS CORRECT! Microsoft puts in this audio program that is SUPPOSED to stop that from happening, but it never does. you can never turn your speakers down enough to prevent other players from hearing everything you do, while still being able to hear what they have to say. It is by far the most pointless thing I have ever heard of.

Kinect Sensor with Kinect Adventures Review

I bought my Kinect for Christmas and I have loved my time with it. It is perfect for anyone. It will really get you moving. The best part is that you don't need a controller. Kinect Adventures is a great game. All of the activities are fun and you will have fun playing them. This is a product you will want to buy.
I love my Kinect, it is so much fun! I would highly remend this to a friend but try it out first and i live the reconized sign in thing. Kinect Adventures is the best.
