This is great, Kinect is much better than Playstation Move and Wii, so if you are interested in getting the XBox 360 for Kinect, then go ahead, it will be worth it. However, if you are a standard gamer, don't get Kinect. You might enjoy it if you are a decent student/smart person or are athletic, but otherwise just get a standard XBox 360. One last point, though, is that if you are interested in online, a PS3 might be a better buy. I have both consoles and I like PS3 because of its free online, but I like XBox 360 because it has a better controller and better games that are exclusive to it, like Halo and Gears of War. Either way, great system, and even if you do have to pay for online, it's not a total waste, it's actually not a waste at all.

My friend has the 360 slim 250 gb, and although he hasnt had any problems with it, I have read some other reviews, and many people have complained that after 6 years, mircrosoft hasnt fixed rrod. Its less likely that youll get rrod with the new model, but would recommend that you buy the gamestop refurbished to make sure that you dont get rrod. The system itself is sleeker, quieter, and FINALLY includes built in wifi, and xbox live is the best online service for a game console. Although its 60 bucks for a year of xbox live gold, its worth it when you get the fastest online service with the best features, such as Netflix and facebook. plus, live is more secure than psn, so hackers are uncommon, at least from my experience. there are some great exclusive games, such as the famous halo and forza series. Finally the controller is more comfortable, in my opinion, than the ps3 controller. Overall, its a great system, but just make sure that u buy it refurbished to avoid any tech issues.

went through about 5 of them and then got another RROD which Microsoft told me since the product is now out of warranty they can not replace it. how can they sell a product that doesn't work? save your money it just plain sucks unless you want a nice expensive paper weight.

Ok this slime version hasn't even been out for a year and you have gone through five of them? Also since this came out in June of last year how is it out of warranty it comes with a 1 year warranty? You should have a warranty until June at least.

Don't buy this!!! Mine broke with RDOD in 2 hours I really don't like it, but at least GameStop took it back in without any fuss. I used the money and bought the PS3 160GB Killzone 3 Bundle. A much better deal.
Dude if it tuned off by itself it's because it needs to cool down fast so it can't get red ring. Yes it is a little annoying when it turns off while your in a middle of a game and didn't save your progress. I played mines for about 5 hours had no Red Ring cause of how the cooling fans work. I just got the sytem cause i like playing sometimes Dead or Alive 4 and it's not for the ps3.
