I made a huge mistake buying this I saved n sold games to get it. 2 months later broken. I sent it out had to wait n then i get a new one guess what broke again. I had good friends tell me happen to them as well. I thought i could deal n tried a 3rd time for kinect n its junk. I thought wow way ahead of the other 2 systems n played n realize the flaws. I had outside friends messing my movements up n the thing didnt read bending motion well. Surprise it broke down sent it out once more got it back n sold it. If this is what microsoft offers then i think they either need to quit or go to the drawing board. This is bull. I shouldnt feel like i wasted money n energy for something that just breaks down all the time. Just my own n a few others experience maybe ur the lucky few. Honestly if ur gambling man then buy this system if not go with the other 2.

To the first guy I take care of my stuff n i have notice many others complaining as well n u didnt even talk about the fact of kinect issues. They are there n its what swayed me as well. As for the second guy thank u for being respectful. I took care of it n Microsoft sent me letters n i called said its not uncommon that this happen. They said it was being taken care of n sorry for the issues.Like they said I just wasnt having any luck. As for the Ps3 I kind of looking forward to MK with the addition. Like I said thank u for being more respectful than the other guy. Take it easy.

ok if it turned off by itself while you were playing a game(s) for a really long time it's just needs too cool down really fast so you don't get the red ring of death. In addition you need to have the fans put the system on the side where the fan is not being covered so it can cool down as you playing on it. Always have it out it in the open too when it is off. The people who use the 360 Slim need to know how to take care of it to have it last a really longtime. I played the on my 360 slim about 5 hours maybe more and never had a problem because I know how to take care of it dude. At least you wont miss out of the ps3 version of Mortal Kombat cause you can play as Kratos from God of War.

dude the only complaints i ever hear are ppl who dont know how to properly take care of 360 its wierd how just about everyone has no problems but you......

By far the best game console you can buy. I just replaced a Wii with a broken disc drive with it and I'm not looking back. I am also glad I bought this over as PS3 because I recently tried Play Station network and found it 21531515121515121231556663 times crappier than live. If you're a casual gamer who most likely owns a PS2 right now, either stay with it or save a few pennies and dimes to get the xbox. DO NOT GO PS3!!! It is a waste of cash!! Fewer good exclusive titles and inferior online service are huge downfalls for it. Great product Microsoft.

I have the older model of the X-box 360 for many years now (after my PS3 melted my disk yes melted it, two days into owning it!!!!! Sony=Fail) with no problems what so ever not even lag! Lets just say I finished Harry Potter and The Deadly Hollows well downloading an update on the PS3! My friend has this model of the system and I have noticed it is much more quiet, the only noise I can hear is the sound coming out of the speakers and when you first put in the game, theirs no longer any humming you have to be two centimeters from the system to hear. Over all I find the X-box 360 to be way more valuable then the PS3.
