Star Wars The Force Unleashed II

The Star Wars® Saga continues with Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, the highly anticipated sequel to the fastest-selling Star Wars game ever created, which has sold more than seven million copies worldwide. In Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, the world was introduced to Darth Vader's now fugitive apprentice, Starkiller - the unlikely hero who would ignite the flames of rebellion in a galaxy so desperately in need of a champion. In the sequel, Starkiller returns with over-the-top Force powers and embarks on a journey to discover his own identity and to reunite with his one true love, Juno Eclipse. In Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, Starkiller is once again the pawn of Darth Vader - but instead of training his protégée as a ruthless assassin, the dark lord is attempting to clone his former apprentice in an attempt to create the Ultimate Sith warrior. The chase is on - Starkiller is in pursuit of Juno and Darth Vader is hunting for Starkiller. With all-new devastating Force powers and the ability to dual-wield lightsabers, Starkiller cuts a swath through deadly new enemies across exciting worlds from the Star Wars films - all in his desperate search for answers to his past.

Wow! What a big let down.. I've loved the Star Wars franchise that Lucas arts has released over the years.. dating all the way back to the X-Wing & Tie-Fighter series in the early 90's etc.. I'm an avid gamer and due to the legacy of the series was willing to let a few things slide. But this is just ridiculous.. The BAD: The game has 3-4 hours of play time and THAT'S IT. The graphics were very dated, 2-3 years. The sound was nothing refreshing or new. The enemies were redundant with the same ones used repeatedly with no new tactics to defeat them. Cut scenes were choppy. Characters had no depth. Story flowed terribly. The force powers were way overpowered, which would make the game fun, except it was a literal cake walk through the whole thing on Hard mode. The good: It was only $39.99. I would be pretty mad if I had paid $50+ ....save your cash and buy Fallout New Vegas or replay Knights of the Old Republic.

The first game was awesome. I can't wait for this upgrade. Tried the demo. Shorter load times, faster game play, more powers! I'm so excited. Duel lightsabers rule.

The game has a really good story that left me kind of boggled by it. it was really fun slicing up stormtroopers and sending them flying to the side or into each other. There best be some add on content though.

Waste of $40. For 4 hours you pretty much just need to walk forward and spam the attack button. Puzzles were boring and not creative at all. Did I mention the 4 hours part? Game stores really need to get rid of the "once it's been opened you can't exchange it policy." It's not right that the consumer gets stuck with a horrible game like this because they're afraid we just copied it.

I loved the first SWTFU. This addition was horrible. Total game time was approximately 5 hours. It definitely looks like they just cut the game in the middle of production. I played this game for two days, very casually, and finished it. What I was finished I felt robbed. The ended came as a HUGE surprise because it was so short of a game.
Save your money and pray that Lucas Arts comes out with a SWFTU: 3 and actually spends its time on it.
