"... not worth it since it doesn't even work for the other rock band games" Way to be a dink. Correct, this wont work for other Rock Band games. Too bad ALL of their libraries are available in Rock Band 3...

A fair price for the new controller. Considering that it also doubles as a midi controller still astounds me. I plan on getting one as a digital guitar moreso than a controller C:

Even if it is a real-working guitar, its too expensive and not worth it since it doesn't even work for the other rock band games

truthfully what people don't understand about this is that this can be used OUTSIDE of rock band and played as an an actual guitar. that is why its expensive

Man, this thing is gonna be sweet. So check it, this thing might be a bit pricey for a music game guitar but this is more than that. It allows you to play the Pro Mode in Rock Band 3, although I'm not entirely sure how it works with other music games. Your probally thinking whats the deal with Pro mode why do I need to pa $150 for one guitar, but because pro mode actually teaches u how to play a real guitar. And u can plug it into an amp and it actually plays!!!!!

You got a few details wrong, br0. This one works for Rock Band 3, Rock Band 3 pro mode, and as a MIDI guitar. The one that plugs into an amp is the Squier Stratocaster, which I don't believe is out yet. That one actually has strings, this only has strings in the strumming area. Still a good buy though, I'd say.

there is supposed to be a controller that has strings going all the way up the guitar and doubles as an electric guitar. is gamestop not going to sell these?
