It took me a little bit to figure out how to hook them up. But with a little tweaking, and reading the headset manu and tweeking the audio on the PS3 I got it to work. And it took me a while to learn how to attach the mic. But it has great sound. And the articles I read hearing people from behind you, and reloading guns online are totally true. It does give you a little bit of a advantage online. The only thing I did not like was it was suppose to come with extra pads just in case of whatever, and it didn’t. And I hate all was getting up to turn the sound box on or off. I all was have to change the settings on my PS3 to optical cable if I want to hear the game volume in my headset and not on the TV. Or change the cable setting on my PS3 to HDMI cable to hear the the volume on the TV and not in my headset. So my buddies can hear it when I'm watching a movie. All and all I love this headset. The only thing I would recommend is I would of got the Titanium Pro's . But I have 50% hearing lose in my right ear and I'm not that great at war games online all the time. And I don't play that much online. So the Titanium pro would of not of been greatest investment for me. And they were $ 50 cheaper then the Pro's. I think the Pro's are a little bit of a over kill. But if you like killing online I would reccomend them :)

First, this is my first and only surround sound headset I've purchased. So, I can't do a comparison to Turtle Beach, etc... for you. Since purchasing this product my K/D ratio has improved drastically. The stories you might have read of hearing footsteps behind you, and being able to react to get the kill are 100% true. The surround sound is magnificent. I've been using these since March 2011 and it still amazes me every time I play. No more spinning in circles trying to find where the opponent is coming from, No more running a marathon around the map to find where the action is. You can hear gun fire from almost anywhere on the map, and the surround sound tells you the direcction. The 2 downfalls are: 1. It took me a few days to get used to all the new sounds you'll experience. At first I would here a gun shot and think I was in immediate danger, but the action was actually a little ways away from me. You get used to it rather quickly. 2. Adjusting the two separate volume controls one for game SFX one for voice (chatting) can be a bit touchy. If one's set a little loud you have a hard time hearing the other. I guess the third and minor downfall is these headphones can pump some wattage. Don't try playing at max volume. You'll hear way to much SFX, and find yourself confused & fending off bullets flying from the other side of the world. My wife loves that I have this headset, to quote her "Thank god I don't hear "enemy spy plane above over and over anymore" A very universal product, I use them with my PC, and Ipod (anything that uses a 3.5mm audio jack). If you find yourself in a stale mate in improving your gaming skill, these definitely will help once you get used to the intense/detailed sound they put out. Only mistake I made was not getting the AX Pro (wireless). It's hard listing to music while vacuuming with the 16ft(?) cable. A must ave

At first I was a little apprehensive to purchase them because of the price at the store. I thought about it for a day & decided to go back and buy them, boy was I surprised! These Tritton's are amazing, as soon as I turned them on I was blown away by the sound quality. The headset is comfortable to wear for me, played with them for 4hrs straight without them bothering me or hurting my ears or head. The overall design is pretty awesome too. I would recommend these to all my friends & relatives who are looking into purchasing a gaming headset in the future.

The Tritton AX720 is an awesome headset, i have had these for about 1 month now and they are fantastic. The headset delivers and promises everything it says it is with rich 3D Dobly Digital 5.1 surround sound that makes you feel like your in the game and chat capability, which can help you take the advantage by knowing your enemies moves in game. For example if your playing COD and an enemy is close to you or about to sneak up on you from ANY direction, you'll be able to hear his movements and react before he does!!! The only thing i don't like about this is that when you set it up there's about 3-5 wires on your floor so it can get a bit messy, but trust me when you buy the Tritton AX720 you'll LOVE it!!! TOTALLY WORTH 130 DOLLARS.
