I got the headset last christmas and it stopped working in about march. I dont know what happened it just stopped working but it was nice while it lasted.

So i've been a long time turtle beach user/supporter, but after my 2nd pair broke i decided i wanted to try out these ax 720s. Well sound wise they're fine, a little different set up compared to turtle beach SLIGHTLY more complex but doable. Played acouple rounds of mw3, played some madden '12 (music in menus) all in all sounded pretty good, then i go to send a voice message, guess what? mic doesn't work. I tried 3 different controllers (just to make sure the one i was using wasn't the problem) still got nothing but static, tried slowly unplugging and plugging the cord into the controller while talking and recording the message, still nothing. Not sure if it is the removable mic or the mic cord but something is faulty and this is my first day using them. My friend has had the older tritton's before and he has had issues with his mic as well. To be honest i had no idea that mad catz made the ax 720s, had i known that i would have NEVER even thought of buying them because EVERYTHING i have EVER had from mad catz has been indurable JUNK. Hope this helps some of you stir clear of problems with this headset.

sorry to say bbut u kinda failed because if your on xbox tritton 720 mic is only for ps3 but the ax pro trittons are made for xbox so u can use those

turtle beach get overrated and overpriced i had two first one broke in a week. then later i went to the store got one more and that one broke a month later now do get me wrong i think turtle beach has epic sound but its way to fragile. triton is better i bought one its lasted 3 years now and i am not surprided if it breaks now . so triton is awesome reccommend it any day

I purchased this headset after returning the turtle beach wireless headset cause they didn't have enough volume.Well these tritton 720's has plenty of volume but they are so uncomfortable,I have to keep moving and adjusting after awhile of play they are terrible in the comfort area.
