to be fair the sound quality is great. the 5.0 dolby digital gives you a great in game experience but in the less then a year I have had this product the mic has ceased to work three times. Customer service is great about sending out a replacement mic attachment but usually takes about two weeks to get a new one if its in stock and who wants to spend weeks without a mike when u spend this much on a mic.

Great headset, even for the price.

I have used the Turtle beach, I have use the BT mic, among others and none have the sound quality these do. The fact that these have separate volume controls for player voice and game volume is a plus when I don't wanna hear kiddies whine over a game. I have never had a complaint that I could not be heard during a game.
The biggest beef I have with this head set is that it is heavier than others I have used, but I never got tired from wearing them. I use these for about 90% of my gaming on and offline/

This is a good headset the people who say its hard to detect enemy footsteps it is not a instant improvement it just opens up a new door for you to get better it takes time for you to learn where people are on the map when they reload or walk.

Decent mic but not worth it

This mic is okay and works well. However for the price the performance i have to say is not up to par. Its hard to pinpoint footstep locations while playing popular games like CoD. The frame is also cheap, I've dropped this headset only 3 times to my knowledge and the mic part completely broke. Unlike my turtle beaches that took a punishment for 2 years before the speaker blew out. Ill stick to turtle beaches because the replacement part for this mic seems to always be out of stock!
