This deal came at a great time. I went to send my xbox in for repair and the post office lost it and basically did nothing so i had to buy a new one. I still had my 250gb hard drive so i held on to the 4gb in case but the price was perfect timing. So far its worked with out a issue. So for you ps3 fans just remember last time i checked you guys got hacked and couldnt go online while WE xbox fans were enjoying our xbox live. >:P

last time i checked you are xbox fanboys are paying between 35 and 45 bucks a year granted that isn't that much you are still PAYING for something us ps3 users get for FREE!!!! so have fun paying for something over and over as we get it for free forever!

Do NOT buy this!! I purchased the Xbox 360 with Kinnect the day after Christmas 2010. It is now October 2011and I have mailed my xbox in three times for service. I have expressed my frustration to xbox and they answered by recommending I buy the extra year warranty for $25. I expressed they need to waive the fee since this is obviously a defective product, but they stated there is nothing else they can do. They decided it would be okay if they sent me another free xbox live token. I guess that will awesome to use when the xbox craps out on me.
Buy a PS3.

well i got my 360(230gb version) about 8 months ago..i never once had a problem with it...and for those of u saying that it's scratching ur disc, ur probably moving ur console while the disc is in play or u have it positioned a certain way that it scratch ur disc.my 360 tends to get kinda hot so i have an intercooler so it's all good..and my eject and power button on the console doesnt make the sounds anymore but i dont really care much about that...and for those that complain about paying for gold membership on 360...well i rather pay for a secure connection than a free hackable one..

This is the worst console ever. It is slow my old phone is faster.200$ for a 4gb console save your money and get a ps3.Another thing is when i was playing black ops it scratched my disc. Then i started 2 play mw2 and my console fell over.So i took it back and they didnt belive me,and it was under 30 day warrenty and they didnt even recognize me.I had thrown away my recipt cuz i thought i would have no problems!!So now im playing my ps3 with a weird console next to it. i dont know what ill do with it.
Your console should not have fallen if you sat it down horizontally. This is for all consoles and everyone knows to do this. Also how high did you have it sitting for it to be damaged so much after one fall? Next, you should know better than throw away a receipt so early after purchasing. Of you don't think about an item having problems but you keep the receipt just in case it does. Try selling it on Amazon or eBay but make sure to describe it as broken. Some people buy broken consoles to gut them or to fix them up.

If Microsoft had waited 2 more years, built the system properly the first time around instead of releasing before everyone, they would have released this system first and not a factually faulty system hence the RRoD problem. It's like Apple vs. Microsoft. Most people with common sense know that Apple is better, sturdier, harder to hack, and much better than a PC. The only reason more people have PCs is because they're cheaper. Regardless, THIS Xbox remodel should have been the Xbox they released instead of that accident-prone original model. This is the ONLY Xbox 360 that can measure up to the PS3, but nevertheless, the PS3 is statistically better but hasn't sold more because of its starting price tag. But Xbox 360 is a solid system.
