I am not one to go buy upgraded versions of consoles that I already own. For example, I didn't buy the DS Lite until my original DS broke. But this XBOX 360 is literally essential... to most people at least. First off, this console can connect wirelessly to your router. No need to hook up your router right next to you XBOX (unless you bought the adapter which was WAY overpriced). Secondly, this XBOX doesn't need the adapter for Kinect, so it's cheaper to buy a used kinect for it. Lastly, this XBOX is almost guaranteed to not get the Red Rings of Death. To be fair, it technically can, but they fixed the common flaw which gave it Red Rings for no reason. now you literally need to mess something up on you 360 to cause it. Another reason you may want to pick this up it because your old XBOX may have trouble reading games or the fact that this XBOX just looks cool and not like an old white brick. Anyways, if you already have a wireless adapter and have no plans on getting kinect and you trust your XBOX not getting red rings, then you may not need to get this. But this console is a great addition to the XBOX lineup and an essential upgrade to a lot of people. Definitely consider getting one of the new XBOX's.

Xbox has always been a great lineup of video gaming systems. This one, however, is the newest and best. It is very quiet and you rarely get a lazerburn. This is by far the best entertainment-centered video gaming system available. If you're thinking about something else, don't. Stick with the best quality and coolest system: the Xbox 360 S console.

The Xbox 360 is great. It works well and so far has not had any problems. It does not have much memory but I figured out that a flash drive of any size can be used. People complain that it does not last but as long as you treat it well, it stays in good condition. I recommend an intercooler though if it is going to be used in a hot environment.

I've had this exact xbox for a little over a year and it already is showing the Red Ring of Death. This xbox is a good deal price wise, but you WILL be dealing with the consequences of the red ring of death-meaning you cant play your xbox until it is fixed, which is very frustrating.

First of all, playing too much will cause too much heat and causing the thermal paste to dry up. Second of all if you live in a hot area and or if you dont have good air ventilation then you're gonna get a the red ring. Playing too much in the winter wont be a big problem if the room your playing in is cold.
