Bad controller

Overall this controller is pretty bad, the joysticks are to sensitive and jerky, the trigger buttons are sticky, the analog sticks are hard to push in and the d pad is glitchy. The design is very nice though with.

Doesn't register diagonal directional input.

This use of this controller might depend on the game you play. I play fighting games that require movements like quarter circle directional inputs. This controller is not good for that. At more times than often, it doesn't register a diagonal direction, especially in the middle of combos. I even went to training mode and turned the button input on, then rotated the joystick fully a few times. After looking at the registered input, some of the diagonal inputs really were skipped completely. I love the way it feels and I have no other issues with it, but that one thing ruins it all for me. I don't know how it fairs in other types of games, but don't get it if you're a fighting gamer.

More than bad luck

My original review would have been very good, since the button setup made it very easy for me to switch over from XBOX button configuration to PS3. The problem I have with these are the very short lifespan that they have. My first controller lasted 3 months (roughly 15-20 hr per week) of daily use before the L1 and L2 stopped working. I wrote it off to picking a lemon and went back for a second unit, since they cost a little more than 1/2 what a Sony costs. After 3 months, my replacement unit stopped communicating with the receiver. It still charges and blinks while searching for the connection, to no avail. I'd be interested to learn if anyone else has experienced this.
