First, I want to say that the people who are complaining about this are not using it right/ taking horrible care of it. I only bought this product because when I was moving my gaming setup to setup my HD PVR, i lost one of the rechargeable batteries. First your going to need to buy the chargebase for $20 to $30( its worth it if you enjoy Xbox) it already comes with 2 batteries. BEfore you buy a fancy new mic or a new xbox game, get this product. without this a xbox game would not be worth the buy as every 10 minutes you gotta get new batteries. Im ALItm1, and i support this product.

this product was doing good for a while but then all of sudden it didn't want to charge anymore i wouldn't recommend this for you but i did like the design

Well to sum it all up i have had the pack for maybe 3-4months and it wont keep a charge longer then 5sec. yep thats what i said 5sec. so i would not recommend it

It could be because of the charger. I have these but I use the nyko charger that comes with these batteries and they last really long

Battery is no longer chargeable! When I click it into the charger the green light goes on almost immediately and stops charging. Don't but these buy the original one from Microsoft!

If you have a quick charger, and are looking for an extra battery, spring for the MS batteries. In spite of the descriptions claim that this is compatible with the quick charger, it doesn't even light mine up. So, don't buy this, hoping to get it cheaper, get the MS one instead; as much as it pains me to say that.
Otherwise, it seems to have a good life, as long as you have a play and charge cable.
