I own both PS3 and a 360... And I love both consoles! I really really do love My PS3 and 360. Especially when GameStop Rewards emails you a $100 off coupon for a 160GB or 320GB PS3.

I have this 160gb one. But keep in mind you can take the hard drive out and put up to a 500gb hard drive. So its best to buy a cheaper one and add a exstra hard drive. Just make sure you do a little research before. The PS3 manu will help. Just download the software from playstation network on a flash drive. Because when you put in a new hard drive you have to formate it and it doesn't have a any software to see the PS3 into you instail it. I've swithed hard drive seven times. I should now how it works by now :) For more reseach you can call playstation or watch youtube.com but make sure to watch more then one video on youtube to get a idea. Good luck !!!!

So I originally bought a 40gb PS3 about 3 years ago. I played the thing non-stop (I consider myself a hardcore gamer). I used the blu-ray just as much as gaming as well. Plus, you can even surf the web (unlike the 360, even the Wii has this function lol). Unfortunately, I received the Yellow Light of Death. That is the reason I needed a new one. I saw the 160gb for $300 bucks (3 years ago, the 40gb sold for the same amount). Definitely worth the money. The extra gbs are soooo welcome. Not to mention the system doesn't get hot and you can't even hear it. In the same amount of time, I am on my 4th Xbox 360, thats right. ONE PS3 has lasted as long as FOUR 360's, not to mention Sony upgraded the memory while Microsoft came out with a 4gb Xbox for $200 dollars (there is no point to that, 4gb??? Worthless). PS3 is an amazing machine, whether your into gaming, blu ray or even the internet. It's well worth your time and money and the internet gaming?? Three years and its just as good as Xbox Live (don't let the 360 lovers try to tell you different) The only game with lag is Call of Duty (mostly due to all the modders/hackers in it). PS3 = Truly does everything.
