i bought 1 of these a while back, i have owned both ps3 @ 360 and ps3 graphics r a bit better, the games r decent but 360 has a good game selection 2. the ps3 network; not so great, it takes a long time 2 download somthing the 360 can do in bout less than half the time, not 2 mention i keep getting booted off the ps network 2.. so if u like a better online experience get a 360 there is reason why u pay 4 it!!! lol

i just got this a few weeks ago and loved it!!! killzone 3 is an awsome game. i already beat some other games like infamous and uncharted 2. i just got mortal kombat, but i cant play it online cuz somebody had to hack sony!!! this is the thing that ticks me off cuz y wud someone do that!!!! well, its a good thing i got a 360 cuz this is BS! i still like the 360 way better!!!

Great system, love the blu ray player.

I have only had the 160gb ps3 for a week now, and have only got a chance to use it for 6 or 7 hours due to my work schedule, however I am very impressed so far. I also have an xbox 360 and my fiance has a wii. I believe the ps3 is the system with the best value because you get a great system with a good selection of games but you also get an amazing blu ray player included. I didn't think the blu ray would be a huge difference from a standard dvd being upconverted in my 360 to 1080i, however I was wrong. The 360 upconverter does a great job of making your standard dvds look much better however they do not even come close to comparing to the blu ray picture quality, the sound quality is amazing too, you can easily tell a difference in the sound of a standard dvd and a blu ray. I have 3 great games I bought with the system and I think they are must have games with a ps3 purchase, the games I bought were Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, which I must say is amazing so far in every aspect, story, graphics, controls, etc. I bought the first Resistance: Fall of Man, the graphics are great and the story is good so far however the Playstation controller is garbage for a FPS game. I would recommend if you have 360 and ps3 and if the fps game is available for both systems, then get it for the 360, but if it's a great shooter that's only available for the ps3 like resistance I recommend getting it. The controls are too great but they can be overlooked and gotten used to. I also got Heavy Rain, It is a very different type of game but it's graphics and story are amazing!!!! I'm only about 1-2 hours into the game and I'm hooked already! My new ps3 will never replace my 360 but i'd say they are both great systems and both are worth buying, however the 360 does have a better selection of games, but the ps3 has some great exclusives as well. If you want a great game system and have been trying to get onto the blu ray craze I highly recommend buying the ps3. The 120 gb and the 160gb ps3 are the same price at $299 so get the 160gb, why would you pay the same price for 40gb less???
