the playsation 3 is the best of the playstation series. some of the downsides are that people can hack it way to easily. over all it is the best system i have ever played.

i just did this because of people that hate on the xbox just becouse of what they hear. the xbox is great and really doesnt get RROD on the new one. So if you read this if your an online person xbox is a great choice but if youre more of a campaign/story player ps3 is a great choice. So dont listen to others its all up to you on what you prefer. please dont hate on either one

The Playstation 3 is an excellent console. It doesn't break down as frequently as the 360, it can play Blu-Ray movies, and...oh my god.... it's free to play online! Like it should be! It's insane that Micro$oft charges for online play for the 360... The only real problems I have with the PS3 is that the exclusives (Resistance, Killzone) aren't that great, headsets are pricey, the friends interface is weird, and the PS3 Slim has a MAJOR issue; backwards compatibility only works with PS1 games. For whatever reason Sony just didn't wanna make it work with PS2 games. What a load of poo.

one reason i know they removed the chip was because it was slightly prone to overheating. So I for one after gaming HARDCORE since it was released have burned mine out xD. parties and friends also helped burn mine out but its fine i'm getting another one because i loved every minute of it. chip gone, lower overhead cost and easier to make compact possibly? It's sad they removed compatibility but alas lets move on to ps3 games on the ps3

Sony removed the PS2 chips from the PS3 because it was expensive to add to the motherboard. Another reason why Sony removed the PS2 chips was because most customers who bought the PS3 were buying it for PS3 games. They also removed it to lower the price.

AWESOME!!! I used to own an Xbox360, but then when I went to my new school, everyone had a PS3. I was basically the only one to one an Xbox360. They were telling me how much I was missing out. They were telling me about the free online gaming instead of paying for it. Also, they were telling me about Killzone, Little Big Planet, God of War, and much more!! Plus, IT WAS BLUERAY!!!! Then finally, one day. I went to GameStop. Once I was there, I went strait to the PS3 section and they were having a sale on the PS3 160gb system. So of corse I bought it. I also bought Killzone 3 because it just came out. Also, Little Big Planet, and Grand Terismo 5!!! So I give this PS3 a 10/10 because it is so AWESOME!! Also, you don't really need to buy the PS3 320gb because it costs more and you don't run out of memory so fast..... I'M FINE WITH THE 160!!
