This game is defintely good, they definitely put some work into it. I expected a little more. The controls are not that easy. The camera, zoom in/out and move around are not that great. So it's defintely worth 29.99 but I wouldn't pay 49.99 for it. The game is also too easy, so if you are like me and loves a challenge you will not find it here. Other than that I think everyone has a different experience with it, so if you are looking for somethig new cause you're tired of playing the same games, go for it. It will entertain you for a while. Nothing addicting though, you will still favor your girlfriend over this game. Unlike some other titles that we saw in the past.

I LOVE IT IT IS SOOOOOOOOO FUN. But i had 2 pay 5o $ 4 it but IT WAS SOOOOO WORTH IT!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!
The sims 3 is a huge step up from number 2 first you can actually explore the town and have fun while doing so. When your sim is at work you can still do things like buy new furniture or things like that however the real fun is hanging; out with other Sims. You can make you can make your sim like or hate others by doing nothing but interacting with each other. I usually dont like ea games but they out did them selfs with this one

In the Sims 2 they had the family and pets expansion pack... can I make my sims have a family and watch them grow in the current version? I havent seen an expansion pack with families for sims 3 yet... I was hoping it would just be in the original...

i have been playing the sims since they first came out and i have had all the expansion packs, but this game is by far the best sims out there, i had always wanted to see what they did at work and see them get into brawls with other sims and this game does that, it takes you to their work and lets you see everything instead of just waiting at the house and fulfilling goals until the sim gets home, and the fighting is hilarious i love the dust clouds ^_^ for anyone that has stuck with the sims in the past this is by far the best one yet you will definitely love it!!!!!!
