great controller but needs modifications

this is controller is great. like other people say the analog sticks have better grip then the new ones. well i had my controller for about a good 2-4 months. today while i was quickscoping with my friend, the D-pad broke off the controller so it didnt last long. overall this is a pretty neat controller if only the D-Pad would last longer

I have three controllers and the silver controller with the changing D pad works the best, It's new analog stick makes it way easier to grip the controller, instead of the old analog stick. I heard many people talking about how the D pad was breaking a few months after they got it?!? another feature that was cool is the changed colors of the A B X and Y buttons, I personally liked those colors better than the older colors. BEST CONTROLLER EVER!!!!! GET IT!
I loved the d-pad change. That's why I bought it. But after 2 months of use the left anolog stick malfunctions. I noticed it while playing the first Dead Rising game every time you move up your character jump/rolls. Very very frustration. An the charge kit is a joke doesn't hold a charge for long at all.....pass on this one guys

Warning!!!!!o not purchase the dpad with breake on you, i went throgh 3 of them . good news xbox will send u a new one if u mail in the broken controller. with that said xbox should be sued under the lemon law because of its poor quality the controller is an awsome idea that was produced poorly. I play a lot of fighting games including mvc3. the controler its self is made perfectly except the d pad! the whole controller is made mostly made out of metal but the dpad is made out of plastic, in result any game the require constant sliding of the d pad like down forward or quarter circles, will eventually wear out the dpad and cause it to break. xbox should recall all of these controllers and replace it with a better finished product.

this controller is amazing I would recomend to all my friends ... yeah I heard a lot of people complaining of the d-pad messing up alot ... but its probably how they treat the controller... I haved dropped my controller few times now but it still works... no problems at all ...its like if its still new fresh out the box :) ...microsoft amazed me yet again with there awesome product...i am proud to own a xbox 360 and this wonderful controller.
