PS3 / PS2 Wireless Rock Band 3 Guitar

Break free from cables and add another guitar to your band with the Rock Band 3 Wireless Fender Stratocaster Guitar Controller. Upgraded from the original, notable improvements include faster, quieter fret buttons - which promote the feel of actual guitar frets and allow sliding chords - plus advanced Overdrive deployment. Featuring an additional set of fret buttons on the base of the neck, now you can finger tap through the speediest solos without the need to strum.

Did you buy this product for yourself or someone else? For someone else
I purchased the blue guitar for my mother for Christmas, but have only just had time to get it out and play it recently. She was able to play it for a few hours, and it initially worked like a charm, but when she attempted to turn it on the following day it wouldn't work. We tried contacting MadCatz with no success, and continued to fiddle with it. Every now and then the power indicator would flash for a millisecond, so we know it has power, but there's something inside the controller that's preventing it from powering up. Looking it up online, this is a fairly common issue. How many of these were sent out defective?

This controller does not connect to the PS3. The USB dongle that I got simply did not function correctly and as a result I could not for the life of me get this controller to connect. Unless you want to have a lovely chat with Madcatz Customer Service, stay away!

Best guitar I ever had!

I used to play with the old Rock Band 2 guitar. When I bought this guitar is was more quiet when hitting the buttons and struming and you dont have to calibrate it everytime you play on a different tv.
