this game is sooooo cool i alredy have it in my hands and i can wait to get multiplayer wooooo hahaha on the other hand i preorder this game and i have data of the dlc cloud outfit but i canot get it in the game any ideas what happern?

I just got the data and turned on the game and it was option to switch him to that look.

all the Final fantasy games look fun to me but would it be better to play the older ones before i play the latest ones or does it not really matter

What you need to do...

Bascially, you need to logon to PSN (or create an account whichever the case) then go to the top right of the playstation store. There should be a button that says "Redeem code." Put in the code, let it download (it shouldn't take that long) then copy it to your PSP, and enjoy!!!

If you've played the first Dissidia then you'll know what to expect when you play the game, however know that there are some changes to the game. I am still going through the game, so there are probably a lot more changes made, but some of the changes I've noticed are below:
Story mode isn't a "pick any character to go through his/her story"; instead it focuses on the six new characters, and you can choose the difficulty of the enemies in this mode. There is also now a "world map" and you can move a character around in, while there are "gateways" that use the grid from the old. Also, you no longer have to try to reach the insignia in under x amount of moves to get an accessory - winning battles earn you Kupo Points (KP) which are used at moogles to buy other types of items.
The Assist gauge is a new addition to the game - using Bravery attacks will slowly raise the gauge, even when you miss. When filled, you can bring out the assist character you chose to attack the enemy, or get you out of a combo attack.
There are more music tracks that can be chosen during battles and bought from the PP store, and you also can create your own Quest which you can share with others.
Other changes that have been made are directed to combat and character adjustments - one example is the EX Revenge, where using an EX Burst while in an enemy's combo will deplete your EX gauge and slow your enemy to a crawl for 5 seconds. Another change can be seen in Cloud's Cross Slash attack - the range of each hit has been increased, making it harder to dodge if you are too close. There is also a new type of battle called Party Battle, where you can select up to 5 characters and fight tournament-style

I've only just started playing this, but I gotta say that it's really enjoyable. The story so far seems to have some of the same kind of loopholes that it's predecessor had, but you can't have everything I guess. If nothing else it's great fun just to have melee battles with the final fantasy characters as opposed to having to do everything in turn-based battles. The new characters handle really well too. I'd recommend it for the new characters and the melee battles if nothing else, and the price is agreeable too. Good stuff.

So i got this game and couldnt stop playing it and i have 26 hrs already. Im done pretty much with the first 8 chapters and most of the story. Now im just unlocking stuff with PP. its the story of only 6 characters this time which was pretty disappointing to say the least. The story didnt do it for me. The game play is something else, because it is just awesome. I just dont see myself spending many hours as like in the first one.

After you beat the story of the six characters you can unlock more story modes. The story actually goes on for quite a while.
