This game is more of a remake than a second game. I'll start off with the pros (of the new improvements): 1) assist means close combat characters have a chance at midrange 2) ai is vastly improved 3) new characters 4) labrynth is pretty cool compared to the old arena style. 4) the RP system from each stage improves so you don't have to replay boring sequences to get treasure. the cons: 1) assist characters rarely hit unless opponent is staggering 2) new characters are insanely overpowered 3) the singleplayer is the same (gameplay wise). It's manikin after manikin for a few hundred battles. 4) The second story is literally /exactly/ the same as the first dissidia game: it's finding the crystal for each original player. to show how the ai is overpowered, I ran my level 44 shantotto against a level 40 lightning and got my butt handed to me. In the original, my shantotto was ranked "a" (maximum gameplay style) and i was unbeatable. Lightning's new attacks are extremely fast in commando and do insanne amounts of damage. also, when at the same level, if laguna's gun hits (this is an attack you start out with), you can break any opponent with 2-3 attacks, which isn't hard to do.

In the this game is perfect for section i found my self in trouble. This game is perfect for hardcore gamers and kids. As long as you get down the controls you wont stop playing for hours. This stands out away from any other ff game out there . All around it is a great game. I recommend this game to the people out there who get bored of all these boring parts in games and want to get to the non stop action fast!

Honestly so-so.

If you've played the first one, you've played this. The story is long and boring, while theres walking around a small world, it reverts back to the board from the first one. Thats just about the only difference from the first besides the rooster, which in my opinion a few new guys just isn't enough to keep me into the game, maybe pick it up when it's 20 and you want just a pretty flying around (simple) fighting game.
