In my opinion, this is one of the best games ever produced for the 360 console. The sound is amazing, the graphics are some of the best I have seen for the 360, the story is top notch, and the is multiplayer actually very fun. Is there room for improvement, yes, but not much. Everything about this game is fantastic. I have to hand it to EA...they improved from the original Deadspace (which was a 9 out of 10 IMO), as well as the story, creatures, scare factor, and mechanics. They even made a mulitplayer which is an extremely good shooter. As for improvements, they have already released "severed", but I hope they some more DLC that will include multiplayer (more maps!). I know alot of people, including myself, have had connection problems and losing connection during the game. It seems to have gotten better lately, but this was a big problem when the game was first released. Having said all of this...if you are a fan of the survival horror genre, for that fact, any genre of shooter...YOU SHOULD GET THIS GAME! I can promise you that you will not be dissapointed.

For those new to this revolutionary game in horror, Dead Space 2 continues where the debut title left off. Even though it is a sequel it is as good of a start for anyone curious about it, it even has a recap video detailing the events leading up to the game. The graphics show improvment, the story gives more answers and questions to this vastly unique universe, and the score shows the change in the protagonist and his environment , yet maintains the eerie, discomforting sound from the first. The series brings in multiplayer for the first time, if your similar to Left 4 Dead's 4on4 survival you may be at home in third person and more objective based. The collector's edition (for 20 bucks more) gives you exclusive in-game armor you can only get from this edition, a miniature replica of the re-designed plasma cutter that even lights up (but requires 2 AAA-batteries), a small lithograph featuring the opening necromorph transformation scene, and an exclusive 14-track score unique from the one that will be available on itunes and such, plus the game (and if your lucky you'll get a code for Dragon Age 2 armor similar to Isaac's). Overall the game improves in story, visual, sound, and gives you more reason to play with the 4on4 multiplayer.
I give you credit for trying to sound professional in your review but there were some sentences that didn't make any sense due to your incorrect usage of certain words also the structure of some sentences were out of whack. I'm not trying whatsoever to be disrespectful towards you, I really enjoyed your review and I'm only pointing these errors out because I personally think you could write some excellent reviews if you keep at it. So again, kudos for the review and keep it up.

I lovethis game I recommend this to anyone who like to play video games. The bad online server takes away from the muliplayer but once that it fix it will be a great game.

Not as good as the first.

First off this game isn't scary played though it 3 times, twice on normal and one on zealot. Dead space 1 jumped me many times this game NOT ONE TIME! Playing on zealot is no harder then normal, (unless you have no skill) the only change i noticed was i took a wee bit more damage if i got hit. The game has no real fear in it. I don't see how all these people are saying its the scariest game ever and what not. Bottom line is me personally i'm selling dead space 2 collector edition for dead space 1. Witch i have beaten 10 times on all difficulty's and still love playing it. Dead space 2, 2 times and i was sick of it. this game is a rent at most!
