The game starts out freaky but with the collector's pack you start out with a good suit and gun so your okay for a bit. The game is extremely creepy with a headset in the dark. Hours of fun horror. The collector's edition other than giving you a boost at the beginning of the campaign isn't really that great. The online pass is close to useless. It takes me 10 minutes to find a match and then most of the time people leave. Great game though.

I think dead space 2 is one of the best games I've ever played! The storyline is great and easy to follow. The single player mode is awesome. When you beat this game you will want to play it again and again. The multiplayer is really good. The fear factor is amazing. There are a lot of pop outs. Also the collecter's edition is ok. The plasma cutter is really small and cheap and an art book would have been better than a single sheet of art. Evan though the CE out of game content is ok, the in game zealot force gun and suit is cool. But overall this game is one excellent game! I can't wait for dead space 3!

Dead Space 2 is a worthy sequel to Dead Space. The developers at Visceral Games really came through. An intense and compelling storyline, griddy, bloody, and dark environments. More gruesome deaths if your not careful with dismembering deadly necromorphs fast before they get a hold of Isaac. The creepy background music and sound effects plus the horrific shrieks, screams, and groans the necromorphs make as they close in for the kill adds to the intensity of the game. The multiplayer is somewhat mediocre but still fun. Overall, Dead Space 2 is one of the best horror third person action shooters I've played so far and I'm anticipating what the guys and gals at Visceral will do on the third installment of Dead Space.
