after playing this game for 4 months, the solo story mode is great, the social PVE is not so great, due to the lack of populations on servers. The hacking on pvp is terrible, so many people hack the pvp play, and bio has done nothing about it. the grind to get to 50 is kinda long, and after that you pretty much have nothin else to do but pvp, which is terrible. Only reason im still playing is i already paid for 2 months, and there is nothin else to play, im a huge star wars fan, i hope bio fixes the problems this game has or im going to guild wars 2

This game is fun at the begining, then it gets boring. A new patch almost every week. The story line is all the way to level 50, keeps you from grouping with your friends, since everybody else is doing their story line missions. Crafting sucks, is not even worth it. SWG was way better this this.

If any game were to kill WoW, it'd be this one. A fantastic community, amazing stories, and much more. Bioware is constantly adding new content. GET THIS GAME!
I have been playing this game from Beta and still current. I will tell you exactly straight up that I love the story and gameplay. For all the character classes in this game. If you are even remotly a starwars fan you don't know what your missing if you havn't played this yet. For bugs go and the lag, well every MMO has bugs; when it comes out so for people to complain right off the bat don't really have a right. I played MMO's for 15 yrs... Even WoW took 2-3 yrs to clean up the lag and only some of the bugs if you play mmo's it just comes with the territory. Pay to play...really I am serprised people even have issues with this let me put it this way....how much money to you pay to rent a game or movies you pay for the time you have it and its only for a few days to be entertained...15 bucks and you will be entertained for a month or the money you spend to buy new game. If anything MMO's are a money saver no matter how you look at it you will always spend money just matters if you know how to do it right. They already released a new patch that corrected the frame rate and the LFG thing now I mean dang...all around I am still loving it. Every character has thier own story only finished 3 so far and 5 more to go. They also captured moments inthe films too just can't go wrong and always new content being added...TRY IT and if your comaplainting still just try the free trail version :P

So far i was in love with WOW untill it became monotonous and the same, i gave a shot to rift which clearly has the best graphics but lacks the warmth of the game world along with PVP balance and final kill of interest was a load of useless talents.
SWTOR has talents lined up, you feel every talent point you spend, Graphics are nice, better then WOW, The voice acting is the the best. Game keeps you interested with a story line to level up to 50 so you don't feel like it's an endless grind. PVP system so far is fair but need to have more options, some thing like Arena in WOW would be nice. Good Part is that any class can be a tank or a healer in a tree so wont have problems balancing for raids. Companions are actually nice too.

All I can say is I am having fun. Of course no game is prefect right out the bat and of course it will take time but just wait for up dates and sure enough this game could get bigger if done right.
