Madden 12 is a good NFL simulator but the online community sucks. It is very hard to find someone in ultimate team who is not trying to scam you. Also you'll find that they use cheap tactics like running into your receiver when you throw it to them so they cant go for the ball this is a problem because the referees in this game almost NEVER call pass interference but if your buying the game for say the franchise mode it can be fun at times to manage your favorite team, the off-season and the rookie scouting are very much improved from last year but the 75 people pre-season roster is very useless, also the commentary is terrible you'll often find yourself missing a third down conversion and the announcers saying 'and they fail to convert the 4th down conversion turnover on downs' it may seem miner but gets very annoying. Overall if your looking for a good fun online experience i would not recommend this game but is you looking for a roster update new camera angle and a pretty good franchise go ahead and give it a shot
The defense is allowed to make contact with a WR as long as its in the first 5 yards of scrimage, after 5 yards the ref will ALWAYS call interference. Thats not a cheap tactic thats FOOTBALL.

This game is a step up from others in the past. It has some pretty cool additions to franchise mode, and my only complaint about it is the commentary. Chris Collensworth is so annoying and the commentary is repetitive. Other then that, it is a very good game, but I would recommend renting it first before you buy it, because some people see it differently.

Not much different from 11; but is in a presentation class of its own and the new defense gameplay is a great addition 10

I wasn't going to buy the game til it got a lot cheaper since the season is over, but I went out and bought it anyway. I'm glad I did. I've played Madden 08, 10, and 11 on the 360, and I hated them. Kickers couldn't kick a PAT, a QB couldn't complete a pass, slow loading times, but that has changed. Kicking is a lot easier, the QB passing accuracy is so much better, and even the O-Line blocks better. Only thing I don't like is Madden not on the games anymore. Chris Colensworth I can't stand. He talks up a player one play then the next he hates on them. Game loads faster to, it don't take no 3 minutes to get to the main menu. Best Madden on 360 yet!
