Best madden game out there but there 2 flaws. one i think we all can agree on is the commentary is bad . the other flaw is that there is way to many turnovers. overall though the graphics are beastly and create a player mode is fun.

it is really fun, but could get boring easily depending on what type of gamer you are, and if your a football fan!!!

If you liked Madden 11 (which I dought) or you have been waiting for a more than decent Madden game for like 3 years, this is the game for you. The graphics and annimations are better than they have ever been. The tackling is much better and more realistic except for when you occasionally tackle the other player INTO the touchdown or fast the first down marker. Another problem with the gamplay is that every now and then your reviever or running back will be wide open just to have the ball hit him in the helmet, not even attempting to catch it. There are also good parts to the gameplay. One example is that your player's juke, spin, etc. moves are very crisp and effective. Your players can also make some spectacular (some TOO spectacular) plays. There are however some pretty fun game modes in this game. My favorite is Ultimate Team, where you build your dream team through collecting cards for players, stadiums, coaches and much more. The presentaion before the game is also much better than Madden 11 because the game shows you a view or two from outside the stadium and then shows the pre-game workouts inside the stadium. Just like past Madden games after they took out John Madden and Al Michaels the commentary has been annoying. Cris Collinsworth and Gus Johnson are once again Madden's commentaters. They are fine commentators in reality, but in the game they are agonizing. I feel like Cris Collinsworth talks about the same play for like 5 minutes and Gus Johnson puts way too much emphasis on everything. It doesn't always bother me though because half the time I have my headphones in listening to music in order to avoid the dreadful commentary. This game is the best modern football game that is on the market now and I would recommend it to any football or sports fan that needs a fun, (somewhat) realistic and exciting game that is fun for partys and to just play in your basement all day long.
