I love madden 12, and i would recommend this to anyone who likes the maddens cause it is like i said, AWESOME!!!!

Honest Review And I love U John Madden

Lets start with the commentary. Gus Johnson is literally horrible I'm playing with Josh Freeman and I throw it to Mike Williams. That dude says great kick. Im like wth. Also whenever I run the ball and get a big gain Gus says the quarterback is abusing this matchup. I say to myself the dude didnt even throw the ball. Next is gameplay. Madden has been doing better over the years but this has to get fixed quickly. I throw the ball to lets say a 6'5 reciever like Calvin Johnson. The tiny corner back jumps like 30 feet in the air on a 1 on 1 with calvin and intercepts it. Be minded the corner is about 5'11. Calvin should win this jump ball as I saw on football science he can jump to 8'0 feet in the air and a 5'11 person can probably on jump to 6'11 so please ea patch that. Also I hate how the corners jump routes. I'm serious hoIw do they know my next play call thats just impossible. I actually went into the practice mode. I put tom brady as corner with his default stats. This is on all madden. The wr is calvin johnson and the qb is Matthew Stafford.Brady is covering Calvin. I throw it to him and Brady picks it off. I went into replay and saw that brady did the corner route I ran before the wr did which means that he knew that I was running that route and plus he is a quarterback naturally how does he do that. Now to Online. This hasnt changed much since Madden 06 standard online. Only thing added has been teamplay. Which can be improved to 5v5 cause 3v3 is boring Overall good game but its the little things holding the game back. The biggest to me is the corner jumping routes and jumping that high. Corners are way over powered and that shouldnt be.
I know that I gave Madden 12 HOF Edition a 10, but after playing the game some more I realize thats only because of the extra stuff I got. The gameplay gets annoying and just plain not fun after a few games. And some of the stuff they added to Franchise Mode, even though they were fan-requested, were useless. I am a fan of the Madden games, don't get me wrong, but this one felt rushed and incomplete. When I pre-ordered it back in the beginning of August, I certainly hoped I'd be giving this a 10. Unfortunately, thats not the case.
It's not the worst Madden ever, stop crying. I've written a couple reviews on it and here are my problems. The O-Line is just flat out bad for users. Like, it's just terrible. Next problem, 66% of the games are played in the rain. So irritating. The clock work in Franchise. I'm totally okay with accelerated clock. I can just increase the game time if it really bothered me. However, I'm losing my mind over the fact that all the other games around the league are 15 minutes qtrs. NBA 2k allows you to determine the times for simulated games so that way it evens out. You pretty much need to be exclusively pass or run in order to contend with the other teams in the yards category. Or playing on rookie. Lastly, the superstar mode. It's wicked fun don't get me wrong. But I hate not being able to make it personal. '06 did it best and then they stopped it. It's basically, "play, practice, edit. play, practice, edit" and so on. It's a really fun game but they need to fix those issues.
