This Game is pretty Good overall. The franchise is better than last years but the superstar mode or road to glory isn't even close to being good as last years. I bought this game for the franchise, superstar mode, and all the new trades. They don't even have the new trades! So I was pretty disappointed. Otherwise this game is good and the franchise has the things we have been asking for and that is awesome.

Worst Football Game Ever

Bottom line, worst football game ever. Each year, it appears that Madden takes a step backwards and this is no different. No new features this year, but they did remove MySkill and other good features from previous editions. The commentary is the same from Madden 09! The graphics are still very choppy and poor. When creating a player, you still have a dozen preset faces to choose from.
My BIGGEST problem with Madden 12 is I bought it primarily for online play. Over 1 month of owning the game and I have yet to play a game online. I have tried everyday and the EA servers have not once been working. EA has told me they are working on this, but it is a problem experienced by many trying to play online. Furthermore, if you buy the game used, you will have to purchase your own online account #.
Lastly, the game is crash prone, and the loading screens take FOREVER. Do yourself a favor and buy Madden 04 or something older. Keep your fingers crossed that EA loses their monopoly on the NFL and a company that actually cares about its customers will be elligible to make an acceptable NFL game.

This game is great, dont get me wrong, there is just one flaw. Its made by EA. Their games are so anoying because they cant hold a server and take forever to load. Also, noumerous glitches throughout the game, including my tight end occasionally turns invisable(sometimes funny, sometimes annoying) and my superstar mode wont load, it just freezes my entire xbox. But I love the MUT, just costs too much, and the superstar mode is fantastic other that the glitching. So consider these things before you buy this game, and hope you have fun.
Honestly, this game is just so average. It's not great, but not bad. The graphics are mediocre, and so is the gameplay. There aren't many good game modes, but there is something awesome about it, making my vote go up to a seven. If you have or had NCAA Football 12, and created a player, you can continue his "Road to Glory", and play as him in the NFL. That is what made the game worth buying for me. RTG is my favorite thing about NCAA, and to include your player going to the NFL is awesome, and if you're a fan of RTG, you NEED this, but if you didn't get NCAA Football 12, I would just get Madden 11.
