Good but still has flaws

This years version of Madden is not bad, but there is still many things that could of been better. While EA did give us what so many have been calling for for years, tougher AI, there are times the AI seems almost super human. Linebackers jump like super heros. Defenseive Backs make unrealistic interceptions. The saving grace there is yours will do that as well, so it does sort of balance out in the end. The commentary is the same old same old. It is a pretty decent game, but in the end it does leave room for improvement.

Madden still hasn't changed in the "Challenging Play" department.
For all you newbies who haven't played 2k5 ESPN Football, you could challenge a play by selecting what kind of challenge that is on the list they give you.
The commentary has never really be good on any Madden, whereas is you played 2k5 Football the commentary was always a delight thanks to Chris "Boomer" Berman. Even the halftime show was always fun to watch. When played during Franchise mode, it would also show you highlights of the other games going around giving you an update on the other teams and players. We can all say that the we are glad they got rid of the halftime show on madden because it sucked in every which way. Madden still has the repetitive comments during a game.
Franchise mode lacks a lot of appeal. Madden08-09 i believe were the last to let you change ticket prices and such. If you are going to own a Franchise I believe a person should be able to make the various price changes. During the Season and Off-Season I would like to see workout plans for the players like in 2k5 ESPN Footbal (this increased/decreased some areas on stats depending on what kind of regime you put your players through increasing one area and decreasing another). Training camp would be fun again.
Graphics are equal if not a little better to 2k5 ESPN Football. The skin tones on the players are a little off and their faces to boot. Yeah on 2k5 they had the faces right just looked blocky like it would because it is old.
Madden copied a few things from 2k5 ESPN Football and still lacks in gameplay. I don't think most of you know that in 2k5 there were a lot of different stat areas on players like they do now on Madden, the QB avoidance stick was created on 2k5, also directional pass (leading receivers) as i seen appeared on 2k1.
The thing that really bothers me is the fact that EA got scared of the 2k Football series and decided to buy the rights to the NFL making them the only game publisher to create such a game. I truly believe if 2k was still making football games, Madden would be no more.
Overall: I say this isn't a bad game, not a great one. I would rather tell you to buy yourself a PS2 or Xbox (if you do not already have them) and spend a dollar on a 2k5 ESPN Football game.
