Better than '11

This version of madden is much better than the 11 version. I really loved 10 and was very disappointed when 11 finally dropped. I gave madden another chance this year and I feel that the overall product is better. Many people say the only reason to get madden is for a roster update, but with the lockout i was forced to update the game myself. The graphics are great and sound quality is decent. The gameplay is excellent and I feel that this is a improvement over last year's version.
First off I want to say that I got this game on PS3 first and then swapped it for an XBOX version. Reasons being that the game didn't run smoothly on PS3. Sound would crackle at least once a game, a ton of commentator glitches, player jolting, etc..On XBOX its a different story. Looks more defined, no sound crackle and while there's still the hiccup with commentating well that has been a problem since first attempting to recreate Gus Johnson's excitement. I gave the sound a 4 because the crowd doesn't ever seem to react to anything and some sound bites you can really tell they were recorded in like a hallway or something. Game looks great and is fun to play but they really failed again on franchise mode...this mode hasn't truly been fun since they stopped doing the newspaper and radio show...this stuffs keeps you into the drama of an NFL season and I liked that aspect in past franchise modes. Overall Madden is always fun to play.....but I would like to see more work on franchise mode for next years game.

Im not feeling this game at all i play it not working for me. Sorry but i got to sale it.
This is mostly the same thing as madden 11 only updated rosters,and slightly better graphics.EA is kind of in a bind with madden.They cant stop making them becasuse there would be many people boycotting everything EA,but they are begining to lose money on them.People want them to change madden from year to year but what most people forget that the only reason they make madden and ncaa every year is to keep the roster current.But in the end if you like madden this is a good buy.
This game is just like all the other maddens, Im still playing madden 10. Yes, i did try this game myself, i hoped it would be something new... but really its not worth the 60 bucks. Once its about 10 i MITE get it
