3D + DS = Nintendo 3DS Is Awesome!!! XD
PostedJuly 29, 2011
First off, the 3D feature is great. You can still have your Miis to go. And you can collect Mii's on Mii plaza. What's great is that you have a 3D camera and Sound Maker. You have a brand new AR Games. You also get a HISTERICALLY FUNNY new Face Radiers. It is one of the features that comes with it that is one of the most entertaining mini games. One of the new features is the Nintendo E shop, with new stuff coming soon. One of the great things you can purchase id Super Mario Land, Donkey Kong, The Legend Of Zelda Link's Awakening DX, and all new 3D classics, one of them is the fun mini game Exitebike (much different in 3D to the NES one). There is still DSi downloadables, but don't forget about Netflix and Nintendo Video. Soooooooooooooooooooo, If anyone says the 3DS is boring, they are a bowl of craziness.

Wait Until August 21st To Buy - 80 Dollars Cut!
PostedJuly 28, 2011
The Nintendo 3DS did not get many sales to begin right off the bat, so Nintendo is knocking a whooping 80 dollars off the thing on August 21st, 2011! Save yourself the trouble, wait until next month to buy one if you haven't already!

Nintendo is offering a pack of 20 (yes, 20) full games for people who buy the 3DS before the price drop. Granted, they are all NES and GBA games, but they are some of the best games of all time, and their combined valuemakes it a better deal to buy before the price drops.

3D is just not for everyone

I will start by saying that I love my DS Lite to death. The system was as near to perfection as it gets. But then this 3D revolution comes along. That's great and everything, but the technique Nintendo used to create the 3D is atrocious. Yes, there are no glasses. But that's where the pros end and the cons begin. If you have eyesight issues or suffer from migraines like I do, the 3D is rendered completely useless. A couple minutes of viewing caused such a bad migraine for me that I had to lay down and block out all light and sound for over an hour. To make sure it was coincidence, I tried using the 3D two more times. Same result. Again, the onset of these headaches occurred in mere minutes. I cannot even begin to imagine what effects extended play would have (or what damage may result from such serious eyestrain). I have never had this issue ever with 3D movies. While there are a couple other nifty features, such as the gyroscope sensor, it's not all that redeeming at a $250 price tag. I much rather have had the same DS just with updated graphics. As a side note, for the brief minutes I was able to view the 3D, I was still not impressed. Even the slightest tilt of the system caused the 3D to go in and out of focus. I couldn't imagine playing the system anywhere but in a stationary chair.
