this is the coolest system ever and there is going to be a mew pokemon game that the 3ds will affect so the gameplay will be great especially on legend of zelda and kid icarus uprising

I got this on the day it came out, when I took it out of the box, I couldn't believe how nice it looks, it plays like any DS, a couple of days later it happened, it froze, it took a bit just to turn it off, then it happened again today, the other issue is that you can't go online or to the DS Ware/eshop until they send the upgrade that will let you, fail, I will be returning this 3DS for a new one and hope that it was just a bad unit, after all, it does happen, but for $250.00+tx it shouldn't have kind of problems.

the xbox 360 is a 400 dollar unit. It shouldnt have problems either but that doesnt mean we should all hate it.

I bought the 3DS on day one after months of internet stalking. I wasn't so excited for the 3d graphics, but more for the increased functionality (browser, streaming movies, streetpass, etc) of the system as a whole. I have had a DS Lite for a few years now and my boyfriend and I are always fighting over who gets to play it, so it was time to buy another. I was ready to get the DSi when I heard about the 3DS upcoming release. I did not buy any of the day one games because there are none that I am interested in, but I did pick up Okamiden and Pokemon White. Overall the I am impressed with the 3DS. The 3d works and I have no problems with headaches or seeing it. I also think many people are over-exaggerating the "sweet spot." People also say it's hard to focus on, but that's because the human eye is not able to focus on things at multiple distances. Think about it, when your looking at your computer screen, you can generally not clearly see something on the wall behind it; it's the same concept. I am also pretty impressed with the 3d camera, albeit low quality, but good enough for a multi-functional device. I can't wait until the system update in a few months; it's the real reason I bought the 3DS rather than the DSi. I am also anticipating the release of real games for the system (Zelda, Animal Crossing, Starfox, Paper Mario, Cave Story) and hope there will be more original games rather than remakes. Nintendo has made a solid device, now it's just up to them and third-party vendors to pump out games we will want to play!
