I have all of the DS systems (Except the DSi) and love them all :) I think this one goes further in quality though. Like the lite it has a great high quality screen but it has it's unique 3D capability. I really love that it can play both regular DS and 3DS games. it means I can play whatever games I want on it! I loved the system so much I bought another one for my fiance who currently is spending his time with it and Mario Kart 7.
I love the street pass feature as well and hope that they continue to develop more for it.
I wish that the eshop would release gamecube games as well... that would make my life better!

i have not bought the system yet, but im going to, but i have a question and that question is does the 3DS play the normal DS system games?? please answer this question, it would help a lot!! thanks! :)

Just saying. Ask in Game informer's forums or something. Look at Wikipedia. Also, if you're going to ask, try to at least score it a little better (assuming you think you'll like it). Most people generally think #s more like 8-10. W/ the (unreasonable) Sony fanboys in consideration, they lower the average enough (they give 1s, of all scores). Just so you know. Also, it's a yes. But the games are slightly discolored and stretched (in 2D too). It's not as bad as it sounds, but keep that in mind.

Yes it plays regular DS games. Next time use the search bar (It's in the upper right corner).

horrible because 3d is bad, screen doesn't work well, and the picture quality is bad. I would like it if it had two analog sticks, and some good games.
