Game Gear is much better - no useless compass, just gaming. I already have a compass.

This system is a powerful piece of hardware. Its basically a portable PS3 and has built in Wifi , touch screen and a touch pad on the back, beautiful OLED screen which can run PS3 graphics, With also the power to play with PS3 players with games like Wipeout HD and who knows maybe eventually the PC as well like Portal on the PS3.It also includes an optional 3G internet provided by AT&NT. It has a strong list of games all of which well be available at launch and some even have the ability to be played on the PS3 and then if you have to go somewhere just save it on PS Cloud and keep playing it on the PSVita (Vita means life in Latin). Soon it will be a portable PS3 with games like Lost Planet 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Even an exclusive Bioshock title in production. You just can't go wrong with this system its light its slick and is capable of not only what I have mentioned but more.

If you dislike the PSVita then fine, but in my opinion this is going to be a great handheld system. The graphics surpass that of the PSP-3000 and 3DS, it has caught up with Touch Screen technology, it finally has the dual analog (which actually means something, at least to me), and I think it said that it has front and rear cameras? This is Sony's new technology and I am very much looking forward to putting it to the test at its full potential. I honestly believe that the PSVita will be setting the standards for future handhelds.

the idea is a good one. But the concept is just way to complicated. We gamers don't want some thing all difficult to use. Ever since game came out it was buttons, but now its touch and muilti sensor. Its just not what we want. those who have iPhones and iTouchs might but its not sony. I will not puchase this.

Finally Sony came up with the ideal PSP i've always wanted. Dual joysticks, touch screen, cameras, intense wi-fi gameplay experience and even 3G. My only concern about this one is that i'm hoping that it doesn't get viruses like the previous PSP's or PSP 2000 and 3000. My old PSP had a virus on it and I was upset. I just think we should give it a try. I mean people already waste their money on systems they already own..=/

This PSP 3G/WIFI and its PSP WIFI only just killed the 3DS with its starting price being $249 plus tax same price as a 3DS which is just a waist of money since its basicly a overpriced DS with 3D afects it cant even record video and its camera realy bed only works in brightly lit areas. I would recomend this to every fool bout to waist money on a 3DS.

How could this system be worse than the 3DS? 3D is cool, but come on guys. The 3DS has ONE thumbstick on the LEFT side of the system. This means that people LEFT handed can't play with the thumbstick and the touch screen at the same time. THIS is gonna be great. This will be the future for FPS games. Two thumbsticks is about friggen time for portable gaming. Why? BECAUSE IT'S SO FRIGGEN OBVIOUS!!!!! Did you guys watch E3 or not? 80 titles already in the works. This is gonna top the Nintendo 3DS launch by a LONG shot! The 3DS had barely anything good at launch, this is gonna have enough games at launch that you are gonna be busy playing games during the NEXT launch and so fourth! Save up your money guys, Sony has a surprise for you!

the moment gamestop first put this out on there website i ran and preordered it. already paid off and just patiently waiting. i only went for the regular wi fi. dont need any 3G network.

This device was suppose to be 4 times better than the regular PSP Go/PSP 3000. The graphics display is suppose to be almost as similar to the PS3 which is outstanding for a hand held device. Honestly, $1000 is too much for a device like this but if its price was within the $300~$500 range, it might even be sold out in a blink of an eye. This range although is worth more than a regular PS3 now a days BUT it has WIFI/ 3G enabled features as well as a MULTI-TOUCH screen. Its Computer power usage is CPU ARM® Cortex-A9 core (4 core) which is amazing to put it in a hand held device that will beat any hand held device out there. Amazing games such as Call Of Duty/ Uncharted & Little Big Planet was rumored to come out on this amazing hand held device. I have to say this product has really made me open my eyes to buy it but the PSP Go and PSP 3000 wasn't as amazing as i thought it would be considering the years of 2006~2011 (when the PS3 came out) which made the PSP had no point of being released because of the graphic differences. Now this device actually will compete and probably beat the hand held devices including the Nintendo 3DS, BUT this is only my opinion. This system might affect more of the older crowds than the younger one. I have to say this is astonishing and O-U-T-S-T-A-N-D-I-N-G.
