The game Duke Nukem: Forever is a sequel to one of the most popular games of all time and has been in the making for twelve years. The game is good for hardcore gamers who like shooting and plently of puzzles but the crude and raunchy humor sometimes goes a bit too far. Now this game appeals to teenagers who dont want just mind numming shooting like a classic Call of Duty but want a bit of a challenge along with crude humor that is usually either a somewhat comical joke or just taking it over the top with language and a very unrespectful view towards women as well as some are too outdated. It appeals to hardcore Duke fans more than anything however. It was a dissapointment to many because it took twelve years to make and didn't show that that much effort and work was put into it. The special edition is definetly worth the money as it has alot of interesting stuff. So overall the game is decent but would have been more successful if it came out in 2005 and they said it was being made for 1 or 2 years.
People who expected so much from this game doesn't understand that this game was almost wasn't. After finally getting someone to invest and take the time to create after the previous companies bailed out, people complaining they had to rush production. Its a fun and good game but wouldn't say it was anything amazing. Also I would like to point out its duke nukem game. Its one feature we love and remember is his one liners. I say he delievered in this one like he did the rest. If you love duke then I say go ahead get and play or if you curious what everyone is laughing about. Lets hope duke gets to make a sequel and they have less problems.

the limited edition and standard edition are bad! the limited edition doesnt come with anything good, and the game itself is boreing, it has bad gameplay, sound, lasting appeal, and the worst of all, THE TOTAL GARBAGE GRAPHICES! and i am not a cod fan so dont be blaming me for not likeing the game because i like cod, thats not the reson.
ok the limited edition isnt woth 100$ or evern 80$ for many reasons, it doesnt come with very cool stuff like the bust fits in the palm of your hand, the hardcover book is just pictures of girls, the post cards are good, the sticker is boreing, the comic book is the same as the hardcover book its just drawings of girls, it only comes with two poker chips, the card deck is even smaller than one might have expected, and the disc is just wierd and gross. but even the game is boreing it has bad graphics and when i say bad gaphics i mean nintendo 64 graphics! the gameplay is boreing and stail, and when you stop playing it, and i garenty you will wont to after 30 minutes, you wont want to play it for a very long time, the only good thing is the sound it really fits the mood, but just that doesnt make up for all the huge dissapointments this game will offer through out the entire game. so word of advise, dont buy the limited edition, dont buy the standard edition, and dont buy the Strategy Guide!
