This head phone broke on me in 2 days and evey review that was good said you had to take care of it, well I did and it broke. at first the head phones are really good great sond but the mic broke it woundn't detech any sound. Thank God I could take it back, and its worth the money to buy a better headset, LISTEN TO ME GET THE X12 EARFORCE! its better sound and a great mic. DO NOT BUY THIS!

If that ever happens (happens a first then stops) you just need to turn off the mic, if that doesnt work pull it out and put it back in.

so I got these basically because i wantd to save money so i got home and started using them i have a wired controller now this is my first headset so i didnt know that "wired" controllers dont work with headsets so i pack it up take it back to gamestop and they tell me that i need a a wireless controller so now i have to buy that. so i pack it up and head back home the issues were fixed and when i tried talking to my friends and it didnt work at all so now tommorow i have to take thse back to gamestop again and return these and definately buy the Turtle beach so my review in 2 words is THEY SUCK

This head set was a real upgrade from the old one I had. The sleek design and clarity of the audio was a big factor and Triton was dead on. Id like to recommend this head set for people who are looking for a functioning headset that will not fail and look good while wearing them.

I'm going to be honest...I expected the AX120 to be bad for only 50 dollars but it was basically like my X12 only without the bass booster. Had I known that the AX120's worked as well as my X12...I would have saved money for the same exact sound quality. Also the wire of the AX120 is WAY thicker so it never gets tangled like he X12's do. Another great plus is I can walk around and listen to my iPod with them...my advice? If you're just looking for a simple, cheap, high quality headset...buy the Trittons! Just dont be rate them at 1 out of 10 because you accidently stepped and/or sat on them or let them dangle for "only-a-few-minutes."

Absolute Garbage

I bought these headphones because people raved that they were so much better than Turtle Beach. I bought them 5 months ago and they're broken already. The right ear piece just broke off when I pulled them off my head. I taped them back together and that worked for about a week. I finally had to throw them away.
The problem is that the ears rotate from side to side which is totally unnecessary. That's why they broke; excess rotation. I paid $60 for these at the time and they are / were absolute garbage. When I pay that much money for something, I expect it to work. Save your money and buy the Turtle Beach headphones.
